Responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of a hotel. Oversee all departments to ensure the hotel runs smoothly and delivers a memorable experience for guests. Some of their responsibilities include:

Guest services

Greeting guests, includes address guest concerns, to improve the guest experience.

Staff management

Recruiting, training, and supervising staff, including cleaning, security, food service, and desk agents. They also ensure staff are efficient and provide high levels of customer service.

Marketing

Developing and implementing marketing campaigns to attract new guests. They also monitor industry trends and best practices.

Job Requirements

MUST HAVE MARRIOTT EXPERIENCE. Fosse property management system literate

Must be familar with best practices in NYC hotel market and be familiar with living and housing costs if relocating from other parts of the country.

Background check required and 3 references- preferance towards employees that have worked in positions for lengthly periods of times-equal opportunity employ

Experience with POS Systems. ServSafe certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire date. Education Associate Degree preferred, but not required, in Business, Hospitality, or Management.
