Maintenance Handyman Tech Maintenance Handyman Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance Handyman Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance and repairs, along with excellent problem-solving skills. As a Maintenance Handyman Tech, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of various facilities and equipment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Perform general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.

Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address maintenance issues.

Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.

Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning equipment, fixtures, and appliances.

Install new equipment, fixtures, and systems as required.

Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and develop appropriate solutions.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of equipment and facilities.

Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.

Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.

Maintenance Handyman Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance or related field is preferred.

Proven experience in general maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Proficient in using various hand and power tools.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and operating machinery.

Maintenance Handyman Preferred Skills:

Experience in a similar role within a commercial or residential setting.

Certification or license in a relevant field, such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.

Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.

Basic knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
