The Manager for Revenue Cycle Integrity and Training is responsible for the development and maintenance of departmental curriculum and training tools including electronic training manuals. This position will provide feedback to management based on Staff Proficiency and Quality reviews. The Manager will coordinate the collaborative process of establishing Lead positions in revenue cycle areas and forming an ad hoc team of Trainers (Leads / Super Users) to conduct the Education and Training Programs related to Revenue Cycle. The Manager will work closely with all levels of Revenue Cycle Leaders in Patient Access, Patient Financial Services and Health Information Management to ensure quality training programs are consistent with employee performance goals. Professional educator/presenter, capable of public speaking and delivers highly proficient content in a classroom setting or at the employee’s individual workspace for one-on-one training. The Manager will work within the policies and processes as they are being performed across the entire organization.
Manage, plan, organize and evaluate the staff and activities of the Revenue Cycle Departments.
Serve as a key liaison to Revenue Cycle Departments and provide education and support on front end registration processes to ensure quality and compliance.
Familiarity with the Hospital’s information systems and Billing system (ePremis) preferred.
Provide guidance and direction to site departments regarding current insurance regulations and processing practices.
Participate in research and analysis activities, have an understanding and ability to improve operational activities, workflows, procedures and clinical business practices.
Analyze and update payer requirements as needed.
Collaborate with leadership and clinical staff to ensure registrars are meeting the needs of patient flow.
Educate and train staff on system operability in an efficient manner.
Enhance the process improvements by keeping up with regulatory changes and collaborating with management for updating workflows.
Participate in the ongoing development of staff and implementing changes to the training materials, which adhere to the departmental policy and procedures.
Prepare and deliver presentations, demonstrations, train-the-trainer and end user classes, and special training courses as needed.
Develop and maintain database of registration and billing issues, as appropriate.
Provide feedback to Revenue Cycle Management and Operations regarding ongoing training objectives, opportunities, and challenges.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years of related revenue cycle experience with working knowledge of both front end, charge capture and back-end Revenue Cycle functions/processes in a hospital and clinic setting.
Must have at least 5 years or greater knowledge and direct experience with patient registration systems, charge capture and/or billing and collection process.
Knowledge and Skills:
Must have complete knowledge of the Patient Access, Charge Capture and Billing processes.
A detailed understanding of workflows and systems
Ability to manage multiple projects with proven experience prioritizing multiple assignments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail
Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and staff.
Technical Proficiency:
Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
EPIC, Eagle and Meditech experience, preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
Certified EPIC training (ADT and HB), preferred.
Meditech ADM and BAR certified, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Position required prolonged periods of sitting and use of a computer and screen viewing throughout the workday.
Position will be required to stoop, bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
