As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
Take part in various department-wide initiatives
An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testing
Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Other projects as necessary Requirements - Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
Experience with ERP systems
Accounting Functions experience
Financial reporting systems proficiency is a plus
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Proven ability to work and communication well with manager-level associates
Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Ability to meet deadlines
