Hiring a Structural Engineer! Able to interview & on-board ASAP!Qualifications:
PE License OR has their EIT and can get their PE within 6 months of starting (i.e. has their PE exam scheduled)
QPSI Certification (Qualified Parking Structure Inspector)
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
4+ years of experience with Retaining Walls, Structural Steel, Concrete, Masonry, and Wood structures
3+ years of experience with Design or Inspection of Forensic, Restoration, Historic Preservation, Building Envelope, Facade, and Parking Structure Projects
Softwares: Plangrid or Bluebeam, Revit
Experience with Structural Calculations
Description:
Forensics and Building Envelope Projects
Provide the technical design, detailing, and specification of structural repairs and new structural design on restoration projects
Reviewing projects with the EIT
Reviewing field work
Coordinating with Architecture team and Project Manager on projects and addressing any structural issues and resolving them
Trouble Shooting Projects
Structural Calculations
Develop complete construction documents including drawings, sketches, and specifications

An Architectural Design and Consulting firm recognized for its expertise in building, design, forensics, and restoration/rehabilitation.
Work on historic preservation, restoration, and building envelope projects
12 People in New York City office 5 People in Peru office
Used to partner with a Structural Consulting firm on projects, but now are going to build out their own in-house Structural Engineering Department
The Role:
80% Design Work 20% Field Work
Right now they have a team of 2 Engineers – once this opening is filled – they will be looking to bring on 2 more junior engineers (opportunity for us)
Will mentor a junior EIT Engineer
Work Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
