72296BRAuto req ID:72296BRDepartment:24069 - Revenue IntegrityJob Description:The CDM Charge Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the Revenue Integrity Director of CDM, Charge Control & Charge Compliance with preventing revenue leakage and maximizing potential revenue through process redesign and improvement, policy/procedure implementation, along with continuing education, communications and an overall partnership with operational leaders. This includes, but is not limited to, CDM (charge master maintenance), payer contract and policy compliance, service line and workflow implementation(s).Act as a consultant with internal operational leaders to initiate, coordinate and provide knowledge using revenue cycle data to help support revenue optimization, auditing, compliance initiatives and workflows.Buffalo, NYLocation:Larkin Bldg @ Exchange StreetRecruiter:Casey CalandraMinimum or Preferred Qualifications:BS - Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field required. MS - Masters of Science in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred. 5 years' experience in billing, charge documentation, charge audit or charge capture activities, or other functions related to revenue cycle activities required. 3 years' experience and proficiency with MS Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint required. 2 years' experience with reporting writing preferred. RHIA, CCS, CPC/CMC, COC or other coding credentials - Prior to or within 1 year of hire preferred. Healthcare Compliance Certification (CDC) - Prior to or within 1 year of hire preferred. CRC - Prior to or within 1 year of hire preferred.
