Kforce has a client in search of a Commercial Real Estate Insurance Review Specialist in Buffalo, New York (NY).Summary:The ideal candidate needs to have background in Insurance and Commercial real-estate and need to have a high level of knowledge using Microsoft. Using Excel and creating reports is a must. This position completes Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loan administration and servicing activities of a more complex nature, ensuring provision of quality customer service and remaining within approved policies, CRE procedures and governing loan agreements.Impact on the Business:
Complete administration and servicing activities of a more complex nature for Commercial Real Estate customers; Maintain quality service for all customers; ensure adherence to appropriate procedures to comply with internal policies and external regulations to protect Company interests
Complete line of credit advances/repayments, collateral review, shipping and tracking and general customer service; Complete wire authorizations, special project management, senior-level system administration, training and various other department and account management functions
Operational Effectiveness & Control:
Ensure files contain sufficient and accurate information to allow loans to be properly serviced; May conduct periodic reviews of each file
Contact external parties, such as borrowers, attorneys, assessors, insurance brokers and government agencies, as required to properly service the customer and resolve related inquiries; Refer most complex problems to management for resolution
Ensure all company records for real estate customers are current and accurate to support portfolio management and ensure integrity of Company financial statements; Prepare and/or verify accuracy of reports reflecting area activities
Cross-train in other servicing functions to ensure proper servicing of customers at all times
Minimum of four years of proven commercial real estate servicing, construction loan servicing, investor accounting or tax escrow experience or equivalent
Proven communications, planning, organizational, customer service and decision-making skills
Knowledge of commercial real estate products, services and policies and regulations impacting responsibilities
Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages
