Develop and implement strategic and engaging communications plans that increase employee engagement and drive business outcomes focusing on:
Identify, prepare and implement plans for M&T Commercial initiatives and activities in alignment with the broader M&T enterprise communications strategy.
Implement compelling and engaging communications programs to increase employee awareness and knowledge of activities affecting employees
Work directly with Commercial leaders to develop, manage, implement, and evaluate communications.
Support the evaluation and potential implementation of new communication delivery channels.
Work closely with partners across M&T Commercial, Marketing & Communications, and HR on aligned communications campaigns that drive business goals
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Ensure our team members get the info they need when they need it, where they consume it, and in a manner that engages and informs.

What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field or equivalent in experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in developing communications, building communities and supporting leaders
Experience delivering top-notch communications plans and materials, and are fluent in current communication technology and tools
Ability working autonomously, and also love being a team player
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Relevant PC skills
Knowledge of contemporary communications channeled
Design and publication skills
Education and Experience Preferred:
Minimum of 5 years' professional communications experience
Interest and experience in video, digital media or graphic design skills
The team will report up through the Corporate Communications team in Marketing and Communications.
