NEW CYBER SYSTEMS ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITY DEVELOPING ADMINISTRATION ACCOUNTS AND NEW SECURITY MEASURES FOR A TOP AEROSPACE & DEFENSE COMPANY IN THE WORLD JOB DESCRIPTION:
Apply security measures and hardening to computing systems.
Installing, hardening, and patching Linux/Windows operating systems.
Implement recovery procedures to include backup and potential restoration.
Maintain the plan of action and milestones (POA&M) for cybersecurity vulnerabilities; create and maintain installation, maintenance, and upgrade procedures.
Perform manual checks to verify compliance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide.
Conduct systems security audits
Coordinate installation and provide backup recovery procedures.
Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.
Set up administrator and service accounts, maintain system documentation, tune system performance, and install system wide software.
Linux/Unix administration and Windows Administration.
Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools
JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree
1-5+ Years of Experience
Experience with Red Hat Linux Operating Systems
Experience generating software releases
Git/GitHub
JIRA
Jenkins
Confluence
Agile Development Methodologies
Department of Defense DOD security protocols
