The Diesel Mechanic will inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered motorcoaches, school buses.The duties include:Run diagnostic tests on diesel engines to find faults. Inspect vehicle systems, including suspensions,steering, and exhausts. Repair or replace engine, steering, transmission, braking, lighting, gearboxes, and other associated parts. Test-drive the vehicles to evaluate their performance. Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles and parts inventory. Write detailed inspection reports and repair plans. Communicate effectively.
