Please note that this position is not open to anyone on an F-1 student visa including those eligible for CPT/OPT or the Stem OPT extension.Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technology Team Leader to lead a small, dynamic team of engineers. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, driving the design, development, and maintenance of a cutting-edge platform. You will play a critical role in shaping our technology stack and team culture, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions while supporting platform scalability and reliability.Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a small, agile team of developers, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Architect, design, and develop solutions using a React-based frontend, Java APIs, and cloud-native technologies.

Ensure seamless integration of third-party APIs (three integrations required).

Oversee and manage platform infrastructure, focusing on AWS-native data storage, containerization, and cloud-native approaches.

Collaborate on and prioritize the adoption of Azure cloud solutions, with AWS and Azure expertise as an ideal combination.

Build and scale the team to support the platform’s long-term growth and evolution.

Review and approve change requests, ensuring alignment with technical and business goals.

Provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and set the direction for engineering excellence.

Education and Experience Required:A combined minimum of 9 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years’ engineering and/or architecture experience and 3 years leadership experienceExpertise in: React for frontend development. Java API development and integration. AWS native services and Azure (preferred) cloud solutions. Containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Strong background in integrating and managing third-party APIs. Demonstrated ability to lead a small team while remaining hands-on in development tasks. Experience building and maintaining cloud-native platforms in both AWS and Azure environments. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of directing work and driving technical decisions.Education and Experience Preferred:

Familiarity with both AWS and Azure ecosystems; preference for Azure expertise. Experience scaling engineering teams and setting up best practices for development and operations.
