One Family.PURPOSE STATEMENT The FoodRegulatory Specialistconducts regular research and administrative tasks to verify that Rich Products adheres to both domestic and international food regulations.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES Administerand coordinatesmall projects, managesegments of larger projects, assistin defining project objectives, organize,and prioritizetasks and conductnecessary research. Interfacefrequently with various internal departments (e.g. Marketing, Purchasing, Engineering), suppliers, customers, and government/regulatory officials in accomplishing project milestones Reviewand approvethe ingredient, nutritional, and handling information on routine and customized product labels, while applying a thorough knowledge of food labeling regulations Researchboth domestic and international regulations, interpretregulations in response to internal/external customer requests and departmental requirements Respondto customer's technical questions about Rich's products that are received through the Help Line Extractand enterraw material and technical information into computer system/databases, while ensuring data integrity and compliance with domestic and international labeling regulations Assistin the implementation and administration of the company's Right Product/Right Label Policy, ensuring labels accurately reflect product formulas FacilitateProduct Registration/Certification Administration in various international marketplaces by interacting with government officials.Must be able to interpretfood and registration regulations and determineapplicability to Rich's. Coordinatecompletion of necessary paperwork and documentation.
