Creates and executes work plans for Shared Service projects including initial research, white papers, feasibility studies, budget and timeline creation, project management, project reporting, and close outs

Convenes and leads cross-departmental/cross-affiliate work groups for Shared Service projects as needed

Identifies and makes recommendations to agency leadership for new Shared Service projects that will advance the agency’s mission within its strategic focus

Identifies new special projects in furtherance of PP’s mission and identify potential funding source for same

Serves as an internal expert in the workings and interplay among the affiliates Shared Service contracts, collaborations, and make recommendations on maximizing support for Shared Service projects and affiliate operations

Identifies and makes recommendations to affiliate leadership on opportunities for adjusting or seeking additional institutional funding in the best interests of the agency; create and participate in the execution of strategies to realize identified opportunities

Regularly communicates cross-affiliate as needed; participate in quarterly Shared Service meetings

Affiliate Relationships

Builds, fosters and expands affiliate relationships with members of the PP community, including, but not limited to professionals and leaders of (potential) collaborating entities and (potential) institutional funders across the region(s)

Acts as a liaison between PPCWNY, PPNCNY, UHPP and other PP Affiliates as applicable in execution of Shared Service projects and otherwise as directed

Convenes regular affiliate meetings as needed to ensure communication and feedback

Other Accountability Activities

Shows respect to all internal and external customers for differences in backgrounds, lifestyles, viewpoints and needs in areas such as race, gender, ethnicity, creed, sexual orientation and others

Develops and manages Shared Service budgets and contracts

Coordinates with the agency’s Risk and Quality management program staff to ensure seamless integration of risk/quality work plans and shared service work across the affiliates

Completes projects according to agreed upon deadlines

Performs other duties as assigned

RequirementsApplicants must possess the following qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):Education—

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field

Experience—

Minimum of 3 years experience in non-profit project management required

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Demonstrated organizational skills are required

Project Management software, collaboration tools, MS Office programs proficiency required

Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Must be able to work a flexible schedule with ability to travel to multiple sites when needed

Must have reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s license not in jeopardy of being revoked

Must have experience working well both independently and as part of a team with other departments and community organizations; familiarity with healthcare organizations preferred

Must possess the ability to work with changing priorities and simultaneously handle multiple projects

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to support meetings and activities and travel to other sites when needed

Work Schedule This is a full-time, 40 hour a week, position; regular schedule will be Monday – Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.Benefits & CompensationAt PPCWNY, we are committed to equitable compensation practices and transparency. In alignment with these efforts, the salary for this position ranges from $80,350.40 to $89,281.40/year.
