Manager, Technical Delivery

The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring New Era’s IT organization successfully delivers technical projects and meets business goals with respect to its SAP-based enterprise resource program (ERP) throughout the organization (domestic and international). He/she will manage entire project lifecycles, including resource allocation, budget management, risk mitigation and quality assurance. He/she will be responsible for planning and managing information technology-based projects and leading the work of technical staff.Responsibilities

Overseeing and leading the project planning, organization and execution of technical projects by defining project goals and objectives, establishing clear communication channels with all stakeholders and establishing budgets, timelines, and scope.

Conferring with multiple onsite and offsite cross-functional teams and project personnel such as software developers, engineers, architects, and stakeholders, in order to identify problems and comprehend various software specifications and as a result to develop detailed project plans.

Managing and allocating resources effectively in order to maximize project outcomes. Responsibility for monitoring and tracking project milestones and deliverables to ensure project resources are available.

Identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize potential obstacles and ensure project success. This includes facilitating meetings related to IT projects, proactively monitoring project progress, overseeing any deviation from original plans, and modifying plans as necessary to keep projects on a deliverable track.

Overseeing quality assurance by establishing and enforcing quality standards for project deliverables and ensuring adherence to industry guided best practices as well as organizational guidelines; conducting thorough testing and validation processes to guarantee the reliability and functionality of technical solutions.

Overseeing continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery processes, methodologies and tools. Overseeing the initiatives to drive process improvements and developing best practices across the organization.

Developing and updating project plans for information technology projects project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding and staffing.

Maintaining accurate project documentation including plans, status reports and risk logs. Generating comprehensive reports for stakeholders highlighting project milestones, risks and achievements as well as providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.

Ensuring regular and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining alignment on project status and milestones and expectations. Directing activities of project personnel and providing timely updates on project status.

Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExperience with:

Working on a variety of multi-tier and client/server enterprise application architectures.

Working on design and developing applications in Java/J2EE environment using methods such as Spring, Spring MVC, JSPs, XML, Junit and log4j.

Developing RESTful web services, micro services using spring boot with well-defined interfaces and creating swagger API for RESTful services testing.

Working with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL databases using SQL Developer; creating tables, triggers, stored procedures, SQL Queries, joins integrity constraints, and views for multiple databases.

Developing customer-facing software for managing advertisements to grow the business using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, and creating reusable components, services to consume REST APIs.

Actual compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
