Job Title: Supervisor – School Based Preventive ServicesPosition Summary: The Supervisor of School Based Preventive Services will support the program director in the design, implementation, and execution of the School Based Preventive Services program. Adhere to and enforce program policies and procedures to ensure efficient program delivery.

Provide regular clinical and administrative supervision to staff through a trauma-informed approach.

Ensure program compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual obligations.

Collaborate with the program director, ECDSS, identified school districts and stakeholders to identify needs and develop a program that aligns with Gateway-Longview’s core values and the contractual expectations of ECDSS.

Monitor and establish a referral and intake process, in collaboration with ECDSS and the program director, which is trauma-informed and accountable.

Support the program director through effective efforts to recruit, train, and supervise the Family Support Specialists.

Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and creativity.

Collaborate with the program director to deliver staff meetings and staff performance evaluations.

Build and maintain collaborative and positive relationships with community partners, school districts, stakeholders, and other relevant organizations.

Collaborate with the program director to ensure a quality assurance process is in place to monitor and improve service delivery.

Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Utilize, monitor, and audit CONNECTIONS case records and family records through case record review and quality improvement processes.

Represent the program and Gateway-Longview at community events.

Comfort and proficiency with electronic medical records, technology, and data management systems.

Must have a high degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information.

Fluent with the concepts of family-driven, youth-guided care; understands that improvement in the health and behavioral health status of the youth is pivotal to ongoing success.

Available to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings to support specific programmatic schedules, crisis intervention needs, and on-call support. Provide transportation assistance as needed.

Ability to travel to meetings at off-site locations.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Clinical/Human Services discipline with three (3) years experience in human services. Supervisory experience preferred.

Valid New York State driver’s license and adequate auto insurance.
