We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team. The Test Engineer is responsible for traveling to client sites to perform various tests, primarily in the oil and materials sectors. This role involves planning and executing a variety of lab and field tests to assess the performance, durability, and reliability of mechanical components and systems, validating products, and analyzing samples in the lab to create comprehensive reports.Key Responsibilities:
Travel to client sites, including international locations, to perform tests.
Conduct tests on oil to determine the difference between solids and liquids.
Perform tests on mining materials to determine particle size.
Plan and execute lab and field tests to assess mechanical components and systems.
Validate products to ensure they are functioning correctly.
Analyze samples in the lab and create comprehensive reports based on findings.
Present findings and reports to leadership, including engineering managers and company owners.
Develop new lab components to enhance testing capabilities.
Document management and creation of easy-to-read reports.
Present data in a clear and concise manner.
Essential Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technology field.
Proficient in performing mechanical tests in accordance with established scientific protocols.
Experience with test equipment, lab testing, validation, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Keen attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving.
Experience with AutoDesk software.
Comfortable with test experience in different industries.
Experience with validation protocols, test plan, and test development.
Work Environment: The role requires 50% travel, including international trips to client sites. The remaining time is divided between working in the lab (30%) and the office (20%). The work involves taking samples of oils or materials, analyzing them, and creating easy-to-read reports. The environment is dynamic and requires presenting data to company owners and leadership, necessitating clear communication and presentation skills.Why Join Us?
