We are hiring for a start date of Monday 10/21/2024

Available Shifts:

A: Sunday-Thursday 8AM-4:30PM

B: Tuesaday-Saturday 8AM-4:30PM

C: Monday-Friday 4PM-Midnight

Must be able to read and speak English

LOCATION - 85 Innsbruck Drive Cheektowaga NY 14227 – report to the shipping entrance- Look for the signs.

What to Bring:

2 forms of ID: (Valid Photo ID and Social Security Card or Birth Certificate)

We will also accept any other Id types used to process an I9 form

Gordon Companies Inc. is seeking warehouse associates

Warehouse Associates are responsible for locating and retrieving orders, packing appropriately, and preparing them for shipment, put away, and inventory loading and unloading containers in a fast-paced environment. Assignments may shift between our warehouses.

Essential Competencies, Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as needed):

1. Receive and check incoming pick tickets using RFD Scanner. -Be mindful of scanners equipment)

2. Locate products using technology.

3. Retrieve orders accurately according to quantity, size, etc.

4. Meet daily metrics as required.

5. Be mindful of OSHA safety regulations.

6. Assist in maintaining inventory, warehouse cleanup.

7. Assist as needed between warehouses to load/unload and process orders.

8. Return box cutters, tape guns, and equipment at end of shift.

9. Must be able to comfortably work in heights up to 30 feet to retrieve merchandise as needed.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

1. Stand, walk and move through all areas of the Gordon Companies Properties as needed.

2. Continuously bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, bend, lift and push/pull.

3. Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

4. Lift at least twenty (50) pounds.

5. Continuously carry up to ten (10) pounds and lift-up to twenty-four (24) pounds.

6. Occasionally climb heights and reach above shoulder level.

7. Perform moderate physical activity which is required along with the handling of objects up to fifty (50) pounds.

8. Frequently carry twenty-four (24) pounds and lift-up to fifty (50) pounds.

9. Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, warehouse environment and effectively deal with management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
