Pelkey’s Tavern, a small-town tavern with a creative pub menu, is seeking a Cook to work alongside the owner/chef. This role is perfect for someone dependable, hardworking, and eager to grow in the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Cook and prep all menu items in conjunction with the owner/chef.
Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of our dishes.
Assist with specials and contribute ideas over time.
Be able to run the kitchen solo once trained and comfortable.
Requirements:
Experience cooking in a professional kitchen (pub/comfort food a plus).
Reliable, personable, and a team player.
Willingness to learn and grow with the role.
Ability to handle busy nights with consistency and care.
