Job Responsibilities This position provides support to students and staff by serving in various roles, both within and outside the classroom. Much of the duty time involves interaction with classroom teachers and students and may include such activities as supervising recreation time or cafeteria time, escorting students to unified arts classes and helping children with routine tasks (i.e.: collecting student work, copying materials for distribution, guiding student work in small groups). The actual duties are determined by the teachers to whom the aide is responsible and may vary throughout the school year.
