Job Posting SummaryThe Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences is looking for a student worker in the role of a research assistant to work with Dr. Shani on her research project titled, The Cultural Evolution of the Conscience, Virtues, Character Development, and Human Progress. This project is funded by a grant from The John Templeton Foundation. The student will be expected to work for about 20 hours a week with a payment of $20 per hour. The job will tentatively begin by December 1st, 2024, and continue until May 30th, 2025. QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience: Preference would be given to students should be pursuing an English major and/or social science. The student should be able to meet with Dr. Shani via Zoom or in person weekly or biweekly depending on the assignment Education Requirements: A current GPA of 3.00 and above is recommended.
