Description We are currently recruiting for a diligent and motivated Accounts Receivable Manager to join a growing manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in receivables management, experience supervising a small team, and the ability to effectively manage collections and chargebacks.Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of 3-4 accounts receivable specialists, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
Oversee all accounts receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Direct collection efforts to minimize outstanding debts. This includes developing and implementing effective collection strategies.
Manage chargebacks, disputes, and returns, and liaise with other departments to resolve issues effectively.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with big box retailers and other key partners, handling any accounts receivable related inquiries or issues promptly.
Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, collection progress, and any outstanding issues.
Develop, implement, and maintain systems/procedures to streamline the accounts receivable process.
Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Requirements
BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Supervisor.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
Experience in dealing with big box retailers and understanding their payment and chargeback processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and any ERP software
