Local businessowner looking for an administrative assistant / personal assistant. Duties and responsibilities include general office and administrative support. Individual will be prepared, attentive, proactive, detail orientated and be able to work with little direction. The ideal candidate for this position must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Ensuring all duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
You will be providing assistance in day to day support such as scheduling appointments, maintaining company calendar, filing, copying, emailing, handling ingoing and outgoing correspondence, light bookkeeping and other routine office tasks.
Responsibilities:
Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
Maintain contact lists
Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
Develop and maintain a filing system
Order office supplies
Provide information by answering questions and requests
Write letters and emails on behalf of other office staff
Receive, sort and distribute the mail
Coordinate appointments/Meetings
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Prior experience in a support role
ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Strong written and verbal communication.
Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel) required. QuickBooks is a plus.
Able to learn quickly with high attention to detail, and highly organized.
Mostly flexible hours working, averaging 5-10 hours per week.
Candidates MUST live near Port Jervis.
