We are currently looking to hire a Painting Crew Lead to join our team by JAN 20th. If you are a highly experienced painter, who is interested in a position as a working crew lead, we'd love to hear from you.
The ideal candidate would have experience in all aspects of painting, particularly in high-end residential work, both interior and exterior, as well as the standard wall repairs associated with prepping a room for painting (fixing nail holes, nail pops, cracked tape lines, etc). Bonus if you have experience in light carpentry repairs, though not required.
Responsibilities include:
-Painting with high skill level
-Responsible for providing updates throughout projects to owner
-Responsible for overseeing other painters on the project, ensuring that everybody is productive and project is moving efficiently
-Identifying additional materials/supplies that are needed on a given project to ensure things move smoothly
-Some communication with clients during projects will be necessary, though owner will be primary point of contact for client communication
Position Includes:
-$30/hour starting pay, with opportunity for raise within 3 months
-Company van provided within 3 months of employment
-Full-time, year-round work
-Some schedule flexibility
-Input regarding the additional painters who work on your crew. Will consider hiring any friends/coworkers who are qualified that you would refer to work on the crew with you.
Position Requirements:
-Must have reliable transportation to get to/from our location in Red Hook, as well as job sites within approximately 30 minutes radius of Red Hook.
-Must be comfortable working on ladders up to 30' in the air
-Must be able to lift/carry equipment and materials.
-Must be detail oriented and highly skilled at painting.
