Req Number 146211They will conduct order fulfillment, inventory receiving, inventory put ways, inventory transfers, lab replenishment. Our system in computer based and requires a basic understanding of computers. Other basic warehousing and distribution operations tasks as required; Warehouse experience is preferred, but we're open to candidates with other backgrounds. A clean driving record is a plus.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives supplies.
Using appropriate requisition forms or invoices, checks in supplies, verifying completeness of shipment.
Examines supplies to ensure orders are filled correctly and items are not damaged
Takes inventory of supplies, as necessary.
Using appropriate inventory/order forms, accurately records amount of supplies in stock on a daily, weekly or monthly basis according to specific needs.
Maintains cleanliness of storeroom; removes empty boxes and straightens shelves; mops floors; periodically cleans shelves.
May be required to deliver samples or supplies to other locations using public roads.
Performs related duties as required.
ADA Essential FunctionsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Current valid NY State driver's license without violations, required.
Prior storeroom experience, preferred.
Ability to read and write English.
