Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Controller in Albany, New York. Responsibilities: Overseeing and managing accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Utilizing accounting software systems and Crystal Reports for efficient data management Conducting regular audits, both financial and information systems, to ensure compliance and accuracy Managing government audits and handling federal government grants Performing controllership duties and navigating the budget processes Working in an environment that requires adaptability due to antiquated systems and processes Collaborating with other team members, providing necessary support and coordination Stepping into a challenging situation and taking necessary measures for improvement.Requirements Proven experience in a Controller role for a minimum of 7 years Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with Crystal Reports Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) Skilled in Auditing processes and protocols Knowledge of Budget Processes Experience in Audit - Financial field Proficiency in Audit - Information Systems Familiarity with Government Audits Experience working with the Federal Government Knowledge of Government Grants Significant experience in Controllership roles Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
