This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC, Position Description Number D0872P01 and is part of the ARMY AVIATION SUPPORT FACILITY 3, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. There are two positions available. Responsibilities As an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic, WG-2610, you will perform work involved in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, calibrating, aligning, and maintaining the complete electronic integrated systems on Army National Guard helicopters. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted Only GENERAL EXPERIENCE: An applicant must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months of skill, knowledge, and abilities of the FWS 2610 work at the Electronics Branch of an Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF), Army Aviation Flight Activity (AAFA), or Theatre Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Group (TASMG). Skilled in conducting operational checks, inspections, tests and troubleshooting of Line Replaceable Units (LRU). Experienced in using a variety of test equipment such as, automatic test equipment (ATE), oscilloscopes, DTA computer, multi-meters, power-meters, and special purpose bench test sets.
