Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for managing shifts, overseeing restaurant operations, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Duties:

- Manage and supervise restaurant staff during assigned shifts

- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed

- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food

- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner

- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and standards

- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving restaurant performance

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills:

- Proven experience in shift management or restaurant management

- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of various culinary techniques

- Familiarity with banquet and catering operations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to motivate a team

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

- Proficient in kitchen management software and POS systems
