We are looking for a responsible, experienced nurse to provide in-home care. The ideal candidate should have close attention to detail as they will be responsible for checking vitals, administering medication (including syringe medication such as insulin), and providing wound care.
Responsibilities:
Provide wound care (i.e. bed sores, post-skin graft/post-surgical tending)
Monitor and record vital signs (i.e. blood pressure, blood sugar)
Administer medications as prescribed, including injections
Provide basic patient care and support
Communicate effectively with patients and family members
Qualifications:
Strong communication and close attention to detail
Reliable, compassionate, and well organized
Experience with administering injections and other medications
Able to understand medication instructions (dosages, measurements, etc)
Preferred:
Valid nursing license (RN or LPN)
Wound care experience (bed sores, post-skin graft tending)
Schedule
3-4 days a week on a rotating schedule - Couple of weekdays, every Saturday, and most Sundays
Time
Patient will need care during the day for short periods of time (10 am -12 pm roughly; time of day can be flexible)
Compensation
$35-$45/hour
