About the Role

As a Legal Assistant, you will work closely with an experienced attorney for 10 to 20 hours per week, assisting with:

Client Interactions: Communicating with clients, answering questions, and scheduling meetings.

Administrative Support: Managing calendars, organizing documents, and maintaining records.

Document Preparation and Execution: Assisting with drafting, reviewing, and witnessing legal documents.

Technology and Website Support: Knowledge of office technology and basic website maintenance is helpful but not required.

Learning and Development: Gaining exposure to legal concepts and practices in estates, trusts, elder law, and more.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

Maintain Client Confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality of all client information in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Communicate Effectively: Engage professionally with clients and colleagues in person, via email, and by phone.

Demonstrate Professionalism: Be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in completing tasks.

This is an ideal role for someone who:
