Plaintiff Litigation Firm in Huntington, NY is seeking a full-time, experienced paralegal. The right candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience in all areas of personal injury litigation.
Job duties may include:
· Reviewing and analyzing documents, including medical records and any other relevant information
· Drafting Bill of Particulars, Summons and Complaints, responses to demands, trial preparation
· Working knowledge of NY No-Fault law
· Coordinating with medical providers, clients, opposing law firms, and courts
· Managing court calendars
· Communicating with clients
· Conducting legal research and analysis of case issues
· Performing additional duties as required
Qualifications for the Paralegal role include:
· Qualified candidates will possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills while demonstrating the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
· Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft and basic office equipment
· Minimum of 3 years of Personal Litigation experience.
· Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree. Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
