Graphic Art Designer:
We are a Design/Build manufacturing innovator and leader in custom signage, large format graphics, exhibitions, wayfinding solutions and interiors for retail, federal, hospitality and more! We're seeking a talented graphic designer with an eye for detail to join our in-house design team and report primarily to our Creative Director. This role is ideal for a solution-seeking designer who looks at the big picture as well as the details. This position combines expertise in creative design, technical creative production and material selection. We seek someone with a great positive attitude who is willing to go above and beyond and grow alongside our business. You will participate in all phases of the design process from kick off through product installation.
Knowledge/skills/abilities: strong understanding of graphic design and typography; ability to package print ready asses for production; ability to scale and size files accurately; some knowledge of fabrication and installation methods; approachable, down to earth, highly motivated and proactively comes to the table able to solve problems; highly collaborative and open to feedback; detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and details; organized and strong time management skills; maintain and improve technical skills and knowledge of creative platforms, ability to design for multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion; ability to interact with vendorsand external personnel in a professional manner; ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision, capable of meeting tight deadlines.
Desired qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred, 4+ years of experience in a graphic design position; excellent knowledgeof Adobe Creative Suite; Comfortable on a MAC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc) and interest in new technology, processes and developments; demonstrate core skills in graphic fundamentals, typography and print.
