NOTE: Quickbooks Accounts Payable experience is a required skill. Resumes without this experience will not be reviewed.

1. Being the professional and friendly first face and voice of the church for phone calls, emails, and drop-ins.

2. Maintaining the church calendar in both electronic and paper formats.

3. Facilitating communication among Boards, Council, Minister, and Church.

4. Working with the treasurer to complete designated aspects of accounts payable duties.

5. Maintaining, updating, and printing materials for Sunday morning (bulletins, etc.), monthly and special mailings

(newsletter, etc), Annual reports.

6. Maintaining filing system for church records (special events, baptisms, funerals, weddings, etc.), financial records

(invoices, billing, payroll, etc), Board Reports

7. Handling incoming and outgoing mail, both snail mail and email blasts.

8. Maintaining Church contacts and vendors lists.

9. Working with Council and Clerk to maintain digital and paper membership rolls.

10. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Friendly and professional demeanor

2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel)

3. Must have Online Quickbooks application system experience

4. Willing to learn new software systems

5. Ability to maintain appropriate confidences

6. Able to work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Salary/Benefits:

1. $19/hour – (15 hours/week - 5 additional hours/week when needed)

2. (11) Paid holidays

3. (2) Weeks’ paid vacation after first 6 months of employment

4. (5) Sick days
