Carpenter Foreman

VP Quality Contracting is seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead and supervise one of our carpentry teams on high-quality construction projects across Long Island. This role is essential to ensuring our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and work alongside carpenters to complete residential and commercial carpentry work.
Coordinate daily with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor job progress, manage schedules, and enforce quality control.
Train and onboard new carpentry team members as needed.
Submit daily reports and job site photos in accordance with company procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of hands-on carpentry experience, from rough framing to finish work.
Proven leadership experience as a Carpenter Foreman.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, materials, and safety procedures.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Must have OSHA 10

VP Quality Contracting is looking for a hardworking and reliable Carpenter Helper to join our team and support ongoing residential and commercial construction projects across Long Island. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while learning from experienced carpenters.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist carpenters with framing, installing trim, and general carpentry tasks
Measure, cut, and prepare materials under supervision
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment on job sites
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety guidelines and site protocols
Support various tasks as needed throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
1–2 years of construction or carpentry experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
Willingness to learn and take direction
Strong work ethic and punctuality
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
