If so, this may be the right role for you!Overview:As a Shortage Control Associate in our store, you will be responsible for maintaining a professional loss prevention presence at the store entrance. You’ll greet all customers as they enter to ensure customers can see our commitment to providing a safe and secure shopping environment, and to deter theft, shoplifting, and other dishonest activities. Your confidence, positive attitude, and engaging personality will allow you to effectively build trust and respect among customers and colleagues. Your discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining safety standards will be critical, as you monitor the entrance for the entire duration of every shift. As the first person customers see, you’ll be key in establishing a safe, friendly, and welcoming shopping experience that reflects Our Burlington values.Responsibilities:

Remain alert and engaged in monitoring the entrance and greeting customers during the entire duration of every assigned shift.

Project a professional image including wearing appropriate company-issued loss prevention attire, complying with company dress-code, and utilizing a positive and confident communication-style.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store entrance environment.

Greet customers with a smile, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service.

Learn and apply all shortage control best practices including performing bag and package checks and enforcing all safety and security standards.

Observe and report on key shortage control insights within your location and work with Asset Protection Investigators and leadership to address areas of opportunity.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.

Ability to visually monitor store environment.

Ability to verbally communicate with customers and colleagues.

He/she will participate in substation protection and relay control design and settings at all stages of project development, including concept, pre-feasibility, feasibility, detail design, procurement, and construction. Protection and control relay engineer will have the opportunity to design and perform relay setting of substation and transmission projects for electric utilities and developers at voltages from 12kV up to 500kV. This is an exciting and growing field in the power systems industry and allows candidates to get exposure to how the power generation such as that of renewable energy ties into the electric system. Candidates will be expected to use knowledge of digital logic design, AC and DC circuits to design substation electrical projects.Role accountabilities: This position will also coordinate design activities, with design activities undertaken by other engineering disciplines, to maintain project schedules and ensure successful project completion. The Protection & Control Relay Engineer may take on project management roles, coordinating the activities of substation electrical, RTU/SCADA/Telecom, civil, structural and other engineering and non-engineering disciplines. Protection and Control Relay engineer will also participate in the preparation of project estimates, engineering estimates and proposals, and client engagement and activities.This position is accountable to provide design activities in accordance with all applicable codes and standards, including all of Arcadis\'s policies and procedures, such as Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance and Quality Control. The incumbent will also work closely with other Power Delivery departments, including the Substation Engineering, Transmission Engineering, RTU/SCADA/Automation, Distribution and EV Technology and the Renewables teams, as well as with other Arcadis divisions on related Protection and Control Relay design & settings and power sector master plans.
