For more information, visit www.gf.com.Summary of Role:Install, support, and continuously improve the 300mm semiconductor equipment.Essential Responsibilities:Install, support, and continuously improve the 300mm semiconductor equipment. Responsible for maintenance strategy of equipment including preventative and corrective maintenance. Generate and optimize maintenance work instructions and to ensure an effective maintaining of equipment with the team of shift technicians. Ensure cost minimization by efficient utilization of resources including parts management/2nd sourcing and shop floor optimization. Define and maintain equipment installation roadmaps. Ensure an appropriate maintenance documentation and equipment control. Design, execute, and analyze experiments to screen and optimize equipment to meet technology (performance, yield, and reliability) and manufacturing (process stability, cost of ownership) targets. Drive continuous improvement efforts in support of throughput improvement, cost reduction, and yield learning. Equipment ownership including responsibility of hardware performance for fleet of specific PVD equipment type.Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Education – Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study.
Experience – 3 years of progressively responsible experience as an Equipment Engineer or related role. Requires 3 years of experience in: (1) High volume semiconductor manufacturing; (2) PVD/ALD equipment; (3) AMAT Endura Cu-Barrier Seed process tools; (4) Cu/Ta/TaN advanced process for sub nano technology; (5) Working on cross-functional teams of equipment and process engineers and with suppliers’ service management.
