At The Arc Wayne of Newark, NY, we are currently hiring a full-time Case Manager to facilitate the personal and vocational growth of a diverse consumer caseload. The Arc Wayne is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. A Day In The Life As A Case Manager:

Monitor consumer progress and changing needs, and will assist in accessing services that address their needs and promote further growth.

Provide crisis intervention, and one-on-one instruction when appropriate, while initiating and implementing individual consumer service plans utilizing behavior modifications, graphic techniques, reinforcement, consumer contracts, goal sheets and referrals to appropriate training programs and/or providers of service.

Assist consumers in developing appropriate pre-vocational skills such as appropriate social skills, following directions, understanding production, training in safety and the appropriate usage of job related facilities, attitudes and work habits

Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

High School diploma/GED with one year experience in rehabilitation services or two years of college in the human services field

A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Valid New York State Driver's License

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Work Schedule:

Full Time (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday (7:30 am - 3:30 pm)
