The Preventive Maintenance (PM) Technician is responsible for performing scheduled maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure reliable operation, minimize downtime, and extend asset life. This role focuses on proactive maintenance rather than emergency repair. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems according to PM schedules Inspect equipment for wear, damage, leaks, or abnormal operation Lubricate, clean, adjust, and replace parts as required Follow maintenance checklists and manufacturer specifications Identify and report potential equipment issues before failure occurs Perform minor corrective repairs discovered during PM activities Assist Maintenance Technicians or Mechanics with larger repairs as needed Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic issues Complete PM work orders accurately and on time Record findings, parts used, and measurements (e.g., temperatures, pressures, vibration) Report recurring issues or unsafe conditions to maintenance leadership Update maintenance logs, CMMS entries, or checklists Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area Support OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards Participate in safety meetings and trainingCoordinate with production, facilities, and engineering teamsSupport equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives Assist during equipment installations, shutdowns, or maintenance outagesSchedule:
