Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in New Hyde Park, New York. This role involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. It offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Keep detailed and accurate customer credit records Resolve customer inquiries efficiently Monitor customer accounts Perform data entry tasks Use Microsoft Excel Perform account reconciliation and check runs Code invoices accurately and process them for payment Prepare weekly deposits and purchase reports Ensure accurate inputting of high-level creditsRequirements Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Check Runs. Demonstrated ability to handle Coding Invoices and Data Entry tasks. Skilled in Invoice Processing. Competency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
