Learn more about working with us at healthykidsprograms.com/workwithus.We are looking for a skilled, meticulous, results-driven Onboarding Manager to join our team.Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pmLocation: HK Programs corporate office at 565 Union Ave, New Windsor, NY 12553.Reports to: CFOCompensation: $60,000-$70,000 annually based on experience, paid on a biweekly basis.In this role, the Onboarding Manager will lead a team of exceptional Onboarding Generalists from the HR department, in guiding new hires through our onboarding process, ensuring their successful integration into our organization from “onboarding” status to a final “hired -on payroll status”. Your exceptional communication skills and leadership will be vital in effectively ensuring that yourdepartment maintains contact with prospective employees via phone call, text, or email communications. Manage the day-to-day Onboarding workflow of the Onboarding team.

Assist the Onboarding team with onboarding/offboarding of prospective candidates and employees.

Formulate strategic and operational objectives.

Long-term planning to support the company’s goals.

Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

Organizational skills and flexibility to jump from priority to priority.

Analytical thinking to improve systems, processes, and best practices.?

“Big picture” thinking to address top-level concerns.

Create & coordinate department daily workflows.

Understand company challenges and how integrating AI capabilities can help lead to solutions.

Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.

Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Formulate strategic and operational objectives.

Trains onboarding department staff on efficient workflows and develops their organizational skills.

Update and maintain our internal Onboarding Progress Report.

Develop onboarding procedures and manage positive results that can easily be tracked and explained to upper management via reports and presentations.

Ensures that you and your team are an effective point of contact for new hires, addressing their questions and concerns and streaming the onboarding process.

Ensure a smooth transition for new employees from “onboarding” status to a final “hired -on payroll status”.

You and your team will assist new hires with the timely completion of the necessary Paylocity onboarding tasks and trainings following all legal and administrative compliance when onboarding candidates: Extend preliminary offers, obtain accepted signed offers, send onboarding documents, schedule & conduct virtual 1-9 verification meetings via Google meet, launch onboarding tasks in Paylocity, follow up with candidates regarding document submission, collect and review all necessary paperwork submitted by candidates to run an OCFS clearance and FAMS registration, launch already predetermined trainings for recently “hired -on payroll status” employees.

RequirementsRequired skills and qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or equivalent.

A minimum of 2 years of experience on-boarding and managing a department.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent follow-up and customer service skills.

Strong organizational skills, assertive, and able to work independently and collaboratively.

Ability to manage time effectively and determine priorities, scheduling, and logistics skills with a strong attention to detail.

Strong knowledge and familiarity with conducting and following up on various background checks, onboarding practices, employment laws, and compliance standards.

Ability to work in a team and take initiative, maintain flexibility, and creatively solve problems.

Personable. Builds and maintains good rapport with hiring managers across all programs.

Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.

Highly efficient using HRIMS systems and office applications. Microsoft Office, Excel, Google docs, Job Boards, (and Paylocity a plus)

Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the Onboarding department.

Preferred experience in applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions.
