Liba Fabrics, established in 1962, is a NYC Based Fabric Importer/Wholesaler (see www.libafabrics.com for the complete line), Manufacturer of Custom Sewing Products (i.e. Drapes, Tablecloths, Truss Covers, etc.), and Print Products (Banners, Displays, SEG Graphics). We partner with a wide variety of industries in North America including Special Events, Production, Audio Visual, Lighting, Hospitality, Apparel, and more.
We are seeking an assistant bookkeeper to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing customer invoices based on packing lists from our warehouse and generating UPS/FedEx shipping labels to ensure timely order fulfillment. You will also support financial tasks, including billing, accounts receivable, and payment processing.
Please note: This is a full-time, in-office position, 5 days per week. Our office is conveniently located in the Garment District, near Herald Square, Penn Station, and the PATH train.
Assistant Bookkeeper will be responsible for:
Process Customer Invoices in billing system
Creating/Processing UPS/FedEx Labels for customer invoices using WorldShip
Accounts Receivable (Collections) and Payables
Entering Checks into Quickbooks
Processing Credit Card Payments through our CRM.
Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues
Reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy

Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager is a Plus
Must have 1+ years working with Quickbooks
