Structured Finance Modeler, Associate (Redding Ridge Asset Management, LLC – New York, NY); Multiple positions available. Offering a salary range of $175,000 - $250,000 per year. Responsible for structuring and rating finance transactions across global asset classes including Transportation, Aviation, Fund Finance, Consumer, Infrastructure, Media, Whole-Business and Equipment Leasing. Create securitization investor and credit rating models that consistently meet the needs of stakeholders using global rating agency methodologies. Perform critical portfolio, performance, and rating agency analysis to help drive the investment and rating process. Operate cross-functionally to develop new products and business lines. Support existing financings and business lines. Conduct routine financial modeling, quantitative research, and analysis in continuous support of RRAM’S ABS Advisory business independently by using C#, C, VBA, Python or other interpreted languages. Position based in New York, NY. Telecommuting permitted 1 day per week.
Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Operations Research, Finance, Economics or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in financial engineering. Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following: Performing structured finance modeling of Asset Backed Securities and other structured finance transactions; Programming languages including C, C#, VBA, and Python; Rating agency ABS credit rating models including Transportation, Aviation, and Leasing Methodologies; Structured finance credit analysis; Global rating agency methodologies and model frameworks; Cash flow modeling; and Quantitative portfolio and performance research and analysis. Experience may be gained concurrently. Position based in New York, NY. Telecommuting permitted 1 day per week.
