We are seeking an experienced Remote Tax Accountant for complex individual and business tax returns, with a minimum of 2 years tax experience. Part-time from mid February to mid April. The work is fun, interesting and challenging. CPA is preferred but not required. We are extremely flexible where part-time hours can be customized to fit your needs. We offer a competitive salary based on your experience.
All facets of this position involve using the most current technology available in a fun PC environment.
For Individual returns:
We use “Ultra Tax” tax software,“Sureprep” to OCR the documents, import into the tax software and create the workpapers. “Canopy” for document management. All state of the art software that works great for working remote.
For Business entities:
We use an assortment of trial balance programs. All trial balances are imported into our “Ultra Tax” tax software.
This position is also perfect for a retired tax professional or someone seeking full time tax season and flexible part time work during the rest of the year.
