Associate Vice President, Global Credit Technology Strategy (The Carlyle Group Employee Company LLC – New York, NY); Multiple positions available. Offering a salary range of $195,000 to $240,000 per year. Define process requirements with measurable outcomes and work with delivery teams in the implementation of critical Datawarehouse models, integrations, reporting, and analytics related projects. Contribute to the development of the EDW methodologies and best practices for the Carlyle Credit Platform. Define the requirements for enterprise data models and assist in the source to target data field mappings in support of business analytics. Translate business needs into analytics/reporting requirements and interface with Fund Management Team to ensure successful delivery of enterprise solutions. Define and drive data strategies for pricing/valuations measurable business outcomes for security masters and reference data for the Credit segments. Assist with analysis of platform processes and capabilities and ongoing development of a technology strategy for operations including datasets for Pricing, PNL, and Reference Data. Create a new data warehouse and integration frameworks focused on firm-wide initiatives. Assist IT in implementing data framework and data management best practices (i.e., data consistency, reliability, integrity, etc.). Design and execute user acceptance testing approach oversight and coordination and support enterprise data systems leads in maintaining documentation of current and future state environments for Security Master and Operational Utilize a wide array of software and platforms in areas such as fund accounting and data extraction (i.e., Geneva and VPM), as well as security data sets including Bloomberg, Rating agencies, etc. and financial instruments such as Bank Debt, Derivatives, Bonds, CLOs etc.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field and 7 years of experience in normalizing business valuations data valuations of illiquid and complex securities, or structuring, trading, or whole loan modeling. Must have 7 years of experience in each of the following: Knowledge valuation methodologies; Designing financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transactions, or option pricing analyses; Bloomberg, Intex, IVP, or Unqork; Enterprise system implementation, including Markit EDM and Cloud platforms; Developing valuation approaches for various forms of securities and unique instruments, such as equity and debt securities, loans, or structured products; Data warehousing and pricing solutions; Capital Market Business processes; No code and low code technology platforms; and Agile project implementation. Experience may be gained concurrently.
