A reputable Same-day Courier Company located in Manhattan seeks a Full-time Assistant dispatcher who will also perform Customer Service-related duties.
The work schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, and the shift is 10:30 AM to 7 PM.
The ideal candidate should either work as a Courier or in the Operations Department in a Messenger or Courier Service, with at least three years of experience. Knowledge of the five Boroughs is essential.
Job Duties are as follows but not limited to:
· Manage customer service emails and calls
· Dispatch orders to Couriers and Drivers
· Ensure all packages are delivered on time.
· Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
· Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
· Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
· Monitor delivery progress and ensure timely assistance.
$20 per hour to start, then $23.00 after three months of probation.
