Looking for an experienced dispatcher in Bay Ridge area AM/PM Shifts available
Minimum of 2 years experience is required
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Communicates assignments to employees and enters assignment data in computer database.
Duties may include using radio, telephone, or computer to transmit assignments and compile statistics and reports on work progress.
Assist customers with transportation needs and Coordinates resources according to customer requests and general job demands.
Job skills and Requirements:
Minimum of 2-year experience in a fast-pace customer-oriented environment
Communication Skills: You will be listening and speaking to people by radio and phone, often in some state of distress. Your ability to listen, speak plainly and communicate effectively will be necessary.
Ability to Multitask: Dispatchers often are moving a lot of people around at the same time, tracking their movements and keeping tabs on what they need.
Problem-Solving Skills: You will need to be able to prioritize the most important situations, and think quickly on your feet.
