About you -

We are seeking a Floral Team Lead who will be responsible for supervising and independently leading a team of sales associates to ensure exceptional customer service, sales performance, and operational efficiency. This position plays a crucial role in driving sales, maintaining store standards, and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach, and motivate sales associates to achieve goals and deliver outstanding customer service

- Address customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently. Escalate complex problems to the store manager or appropriate channels

- Leading by example and ensuring that your team provides excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and addressing customer needs promptly

- Flower Care - Ensure the proper care and maintenance of flowers, plants, and related products, including watering, trimming, and maintaining freshness

- Monitor goals, implement strategies to achieve targets, and track individual and team performance. Provide training and guidance as needed

- Cash handling and submission

- Maintaining a set schedule by being responsible for team assistance with call outs, arranging shift coverage, and call out assistance ensuring your store successfully operates

- Inventory Management - Assist in maintaining and organizing floral inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed (pull list)

- Visual Merchandising - Ensure the store is well-maintained. Maintain displays that reflect the company’s branding to enhance sales and customer engagement

- Quality Control - Inspect incoming flowers and plants for quality

- Cleanliness and Safety - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

- Flower Processing - Intake and organization of floral shipments

- Communicate regularly with store management and collaborate with other shops to enhance store operations and achieve company goals as needed

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; some college or relevant certifications preferred

Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a retail environment is highly desirable

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently

Knowledge of retail operations, point-of-sale systems, and inventory management

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift 40lbs

Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying of flower arrangements and supplies

Work in varying temperature and humidity conditions
