We are seeking a caring, energetic, and responsible Afterschool Teacher to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about working with children and creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment during afterschool hours (2:00 - 7:00pm).
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
-Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including homework help, games, and creative enrichment
-Foster a positive and respectful environment that promotes social and emotional development
-Maintain clear and consistent communication with children, parents, and staff
-Assist with set-up and clean-up of daily activities
-Follow all program policies and procedures
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in education or child development preferred
-Prior experience working with children (ages 5–10) in a school or camp setting
-Strong communication and classroom management skills
-CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
