We are an accredited language school looking for ESL instructors to teach at our location in Floral Park.
We currently have openings for PT afternoon positions.
This class meets from 1:30pm-6pm, Monday and Tuesday.
We offer flexible schedules and a comfortable work environment, with the possibility of FT work for the next semester. (May start)
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in English, or a business-related field is preferred. (NYS requires a bachelor's degree)
- A strong command of the English language, with a focus on grammatical and conversation skills.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, along the ability and patience to deal with students with limited language skills. Bilingual Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply, but this is not a requirement.
- A BPSS teacher's license or permit from NYS within your field (or the credentials to obtain a license/permit. Please click on the link below to view the state requirements for ESL instructors.)
