Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Math Teacher to join our team for the
2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics
education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to inspire and engage students in
the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and NY
State Next Gen standards
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance students’ educational experience
Participate in professional development and school community activities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field; Master’s degree preferred, achieved
a high GPA from a competitive college
3-5 years of experiencing in teaching math
Teaching certification in New York State preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for teaching and inspiring students
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
