Infant/Toddler Teacher WANTED IMMEDIATE START
We are seeking a dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our licensed child care program AT 1141 CASTLETON AVENUE STATEN ISLAND, NY 10310. This position is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children under 24 months in compliance with NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) Article 47 regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must meet one of the following DOHMH requirements:
Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education OR
CDA certification plus enrollment in an approved study plan toward an Associate’s degree within 7 years OR
High school diploma/GED, 9 ECE credits, 2 years of supervised infant/toddler experience, plus study plan toward an Associate’s degree OR
High school diploma/GED and 5 years of supervised infant/toddler experience in a licensed program
Additionally Required:
Completion of required trainings (child abuse identification, infectious disease control, safe sleep/SIDS, food allergies, emergency preparedness).
Must maintain health/immunization compliance and required background clearances.
